One person may be in the clinic at a time, and masks are required by Fort Collins indoors. Dogs should be on leash and cats in carriers and given to staff. Please allow us  to hold your pet during examination and vaccination so we are all able to practice safe social distancing. Clients are asked to stop at the table outside the clinic and use the provided hand sanitizer if they will be coming inside the clinic. We are still offering curbside and parking lot service for those that are comfortable doing so.

New clients: download the New Client/Patient Form (click the "Online Forms" button below), fill out completely and email the completed form to LemayVetClinic@gmail.com or bring with you to your pets appointment.

For all refill prescriptions, food and supplies please call 24 hours ahead and consider over-the-phone payment. You may leave a detailed message at 970-568-4240, text us at 970-817-0256, or email LemayVetClinic@gmail.com.  As always, thank you for letting us supply you with heartworm, tick and flea prevention, prescription foods and other medications to help this small business survive.

For those wanting prescription medications or food to be filled online or at another pharmacy, there will be a $10 prescription fee payable over the phone and three business days prior notice. We are unable to receive faxes or calls from pharmacies at this time.

Lemay Vet Clinic provides low-stress, high-quality, compassionate and personalized care for your furry (and not-so-furry) family members. We are pleased to offer both conventional and holistic medicine, surgery and dental treatments with alternatives such as laser treatment, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle counseling. We also offer allergy testing, affordable pet wheelchairs, affordable wellness testing, microchipping, heartworm tests and vaccinations.

Our philosophy is that caring for your pets is a partnership between doctor and pet caregiver. It is our duty to provide education and options, so you can make the best decisions for you and your pets. We believe that each individual pet should have their veterinary care tailored to their needs and the caregiver’s wants, and not dictated by custom. You as pet caregiver play an important role in deciding how much or what type of care your pets receive, and we are here to support you!

At Lemay Vet Clinic, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.

Before graduating from vet school in 2010 I spent many years on the other side of the exam table as a client. I always seemed to have the kinds of dogs with many medical issues: Dachshunds, Rottweilers, German Shepherds and Flat-Coated Retrievers, so I had plenty of opportunities to be the client. To be honest, I did a lot of ‘clinic-hopping’ looking for the best fit for myself and my animals. Unfortunately I never did find a vet with whom I felt completely comfortable entrusting my pet’s care and with whom I could work with as a team. I also spent years volunteering and fostering for shelters and rescue groups, and saw first-hand how lack of affordable veterinary care affects the lives of our pets. For those reasons I had a very clear idea of the kind of veterinarian I wanted to be: caring, nonjudgmental, forever curious, and down-to-earth. After graduation I spent a year in a large, very busy hospital in Texas, learning the basics of being a veterinarian. Although I met wonderful people while there, I yearned to return home to Northern Colorado and open the caring but affordable veterinary practice I had dreamed about. With the help and encouragement of my RN husband, Keith, I began AniMom Vet, a small mobile practice. We have lots of wonderful veterinarians here in Northern Colorado, and the idea of opening a brick-and-mortar clinic that would be succesful seemed impossible. However, mobile vet services proved to be popular, and in time Keith built a small clinic inside our home in Windsor. Many pets enjoy visiting our home clinic as if they were visiting friends. In August of 2014 I purchased the Roving Vet Clinic from Dr. Elayne Williams, who had been practicing in Fort Collins for almost 40 years. I want to continue the tradition Dr. Williams started by offering personalized but affordable service, and options in the care of your furry (or not-so-furry) family members. I believe it is my duty to provide the support, education, and options so that you may make the best decisions for you and your pet. I am so happy to be able to offer this level of veterinary medicine at prices just about all pet owners can afford. Not only that, but the ability to be accessible to my clients, who often call me to ask questions rather than turn to the internet for possibly erroneous information. I enjoy partnering with my clients regarding their pet’s veterinary care, and I know that YOU know your pets best. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
